SolaraPure / Tyent 2-Bank In-line Fluoride Removal Filtration System
**Note: This is for the complete system which includes the filter housing unit, install materials as well as the initial filters. This is a one time purchase and you will only have to change out the filters every 12 months or so. Additional filters for this unit can be found here.
STAGE 1 FILTRATION:
100% ACTIVATED ALUMINA: UP TO 95% REDUCTION OF FLUORIDE AND ARSENIC.
Activated Alumina is made from Aluminium Hydroxide by de-hydroxylating it to produce a highly porous material; this material can have a surface area significantly over 200 m²/per gram (2,152 square feet/per gram). This very high surface-area-to-weight ratio gives it many “tunnel-like” pores for capturing (filtering) Fluoride, Arsenic and other toxins in drinking water.
It is made of Aluminium Oxide (alumina; Al2O3), the same chemical substance as RUBIES & SAPPHIRES (but without impurities that give those gems their color). Activated alumina has also been identified by the EPA as a Small System Compliance Technology (SSCT) for uranium, and can remove up to 99 percent of the contaminant, depending on pH and concentrations of competing ions. It is also effective at removing other ions such as arsenic, fluoride, sulfate, and selenate.
STAGE 2 FILTRATION:
Kdf55 combined with catalytic carbon for reduction of following:
Kdf55: heavy metals such as (lead, mercury, nickel), chlorine, acts as a bacteria and scale control media.
Catalytic carbon: iron, hydrogen sulfide, manganese, chloramines reduction.
Important installation details:
Dimensions: 10″ length x 12″ high x 5″ wide
water flow through filter = stage 1 in & stage 2 out
flush with 4 gallons of water before using

**IMPORTANT** – FLUSH WITH 4 GALLONS OF WATER BEFORE CONNECTING TO IONIZER TO
REMOVE ANY LOOSE RESIDUE OR PARTICLES FROM THE FILTERS.
**The replacement filter cartridges have a limited service life of approximately 12 months (1,920 gallons). Be sure to change the filters annually, or if you notice changes in taste, color or flow of the water being filtered.
